The content of Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare & Clinical Management qualification. This is a substantive Healthcare programme. Typically delivered over 12month period in the case of full-time students. UKAP Level 4 courses combine practical career-based elements with a number of essential underpinning management disciplines that will be invaluable as the individual’s career progresses. The course is therefore an ideal preparation for immediate employment in the sector.


Alternatively students may use it as a pathway to advanced study, typically progressing on to the UKAP Level 5 Diploma. Since the Level 4 Diploma is designed to be broadly equivalent to that of the first year of a bachelor’s degree, students may use the qualification to apply for credit entry to a number of bachelor degree programmes at selected universities worldwide.


 Entry Requirements

For entry onto the UKAP Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare & Clinical Management qualification, learner must possess:


·       Level 3 Diploma or GCE/GCSE or equivalent overseas qualifications

·        Mature learners (over 21) with relevant work experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this   experience prior to registering for the programme)


 English requirements:

 If the learner is not from a majority English-speaking country, they must provide evidence of English language competency at a minimum of CEFR (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level B1 from a recognised English test provider or IELTS level 4.0 in each component.

Duration and Delivery

The qualification is designed to be delivered over one academic year for full-time study but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate part-time and distance learning.


The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, and distance, online by approved centre’s only.


 Assessment and Verification

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and verified by UKAP. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.


To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, a learner must have successfully passed all learning outcomes for that unit.


The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgment of the learner’s overall achievement has been arrived at.


Exemption from professional accountancy examinations

As a graduate of this programme you will be able to gain exemptions from professional Healthcare examinations by application to the relevant accounting body. The level of these exemptions will depend on the modules taken during the programme and the marks attained.



Upon successful completion of UKAP Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare & Clinical Management qualification learners will be eligible to gain entry into Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree or pursue a Level 5 Diploma in Healthcare & Clinical Management .
